A.R. Bingham's love for writing began in his early teenage years. He won several school contests for short stories, prompting some of his teachers to encourage him attempt to publish his work. He’s tutored many of his peers in creative writing and assisted others with lectures and written presentations for work. He is also a fan of comics, science fiction novels, movies and tv shows. He was inspired to become an author by the works of some of his favorite authors, including K.A. Applegate, Michael Grant, and Timothy Zahn. Like these authors and others, A.R. Bingham hopes his work will help young readers fall in love with books and help older readers rediscover a love they may have forgotten.
